Wildcraft Focaccia Co.

Wildcraft Focaccia Company, a garden-to-oven sourdough and focaccia bakery café in Richmond, VA, came to DCH with clear marching orders for its brand — create an iconic, easily recognizable visual language that embodies the vibrant artistry of its wild yeast creations while staying relatable to its neighborhood target market.

DCH created a sophisticated logo that finds balance between a strong, custom wordmark and a hand-drawn wheat icon. The circular nature of the tagline adds a hint of whimsy.

To help Wildcraft flesh out its look, DCH created a series of badges that highlight the elements that go into its recipes — leafy herbs, flavorful sprigs and bread-like spirals. Those illustrations were then combined to create two branded patterns for use on everything from wall murals to the butcher paper wrapped around Wildcraft’s sourdough.
